I feel like there would be something in the dish (scorch marks? soot stains? etc) if it had been used for incense previously, so I’m not sure. Maybe it’s just deco? Either way you can use it for whatever you’d like to & it’s def beautiful.Great find!
There actually is a scorch mark..you can see it on the middle left flower on the picture. That’s actually what made me think it was for incense. The only think it has is a small sticker on the back that says made in india
